Agreement to terms

By accessing or using TableBell (“the Service”) at tablebell.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service including restaurant owners, staff members, and guests who access guest request pages.

Description of service

TableBell is a SaaS platform that provides:

  • QR code-based guest request management for restaurants and cafés
  • A real-time staff dashboard for managing guest requests
  • Custom table management and QR code generation tools
  • Subscription-based plans (Free, Premium, Premium+)

Account registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One account per restaurant or business entity. Multiple locations require separate accounts or must be agreed upon with us
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

Subscription plans and billing

Plans

  • Free plan — up to 5 tables, no charge
  • Premium plan — up to 30 tables, $29 per month
  • Premium+ plan — unlimited tables, $50 per month

Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly via credit card through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods

Plan changes

  • You may upgrade your plan at any time — the new plan takes effect immediately
  • Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • If you exceed your plan's table limit after downgrading, existing tables will remain but you will not be able to add new ones

Acceptable use

You agree not to use TableBell to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to abuse, spam, or overload the guest request system
  • Impersonate another business or person
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate hospitality operations

Guest use

Guests who access TableBell via a QR code are subject to the following:

  • Guest request pages are provided by the restaurant operator, powered by TableBell
  • A 60-second rate limit applies per device and IP address to prevent spam
  • Guests may not attempt to circumvent rate limiting mechanisms
  • TableBell is not responsible for the quality of service provided by the restaurant

Intellectual property

The TableBell platform, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by TableBell and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your restaurant's data (table names, organisation details). By using TableBell, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data to provide the Service.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the Service. We will provide advance notice for planned downtime where possible.

TableBell is not liable for losses caused by service outages, including missed guest requests during downtime.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TableBell shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost revenue or profits resulting from service interruptions
  • Damages resulting from unauthorised access to your account
  • Any issues arising from third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Resend)

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Have outstanding unpaid invoices after a grace period
  • Are found to be engaging in fraudulent or abusive behaviour

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at via using a contact from our website.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify account holders via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
